Duke of Edinburgh Training

Wednesday 20th March held host to our Duke of Edinburgh Expedition training day. Attended by over 80 Year 9 pupils, a group of wonderful volunteers from the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme for Kent hosted informative workshops across the day on tent assembly, first aid, outdoor cooking and orienteering, ready for our expedition outing in June. We are incredibly proud and impressed by our student’s hard work and determination; the dedication with which they worked on these skills was truly commendable. A huge well done goes out to the entire group for their conduct, along with a big thank you for all the delicious hot chocolates made on camping stoves across the day  - Mr Afful and Miss Mack were kept very happy!
