The Abbey School is looking for an enthusiastic professional with a genuine passion for education to join our well-established AEN team and make a difference. Minimum requirements are GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent. An experience of working at ‘A’ level or higher education standard would be desirable.
Experience, of working with students with children that have special educational needs is an advantage, but most valued is the enthusiasm to support and motivate young people and the ability to lead as a positive role model. We are seeking reliable candidates who have; patience, understanding and who are also team players.
The Abbey School is a highly successful, forward thinking school with over 200 staff. Ofsted in February 2017 graded the school Good in all areas. They noted several strengths including “strong leadership, the quality of teaching, improving exam results, a vibrant sixth form, good behaviour, and an excellent level of care and safety”.
